In May 2010, the Creative Services in South-Karelia project was started at the Lappeenranta Campus of the University of Applied Sciences, HUMAK, to round up local operators in the creative fields and to increase their visibility.
This video is one the concrete actions taken to reach these goals. Its main objective is to increase the visibility of the creative sector in the region. The video introduces few of the talents that we have in the area. The main target is quality arts and crafts. Hopefully in the future there will be more videos introducing performing arts, marketing services etc.
The project has also produced Catalogue of Creative Services - South Karelia 2011 to facilitate easier utilization of creative services and to assist in finding skilled operators in the field. Customer-oriented listings make finding just the right service or product quick and easy. All of the region's creative experts are now within easy reach in one place. Catalogue is available in Finnish, Russian and English.
